March 20th, 2007At this point I’d like to say a bit about the graphic style of the comic.
Most people will not be familiar with the history of updates, or lack thereof. In the beginning, I made only the first page, just to prove to myself that I could. While the urge to continue was there, the urge to procrastinate won and the comic was already going into hiatus, left forgotten for half a year. After each following page I’d take months of break before finishing the art of the next one.
The result of this is that almost every page was created with a different style and a different skill level, and so look quite different from each other.
Even now, I need to find a visual style I’m comfortable with and I find fitting for the story. The detailed artwork of page 11 was a nice challenge to create, but I found I like cleaner lines with less obvious texture more, and so I’m returning to that.
Just a heads-up, you may see yet more changes happen, both in new updates and retroactively applied to older pages.
