My first thought was Thief the computer game.

So just a small bit of confusion here…
I assumed that Thirteen was going to be escorted into the relics area by that guy at the desk and at the same time, Tassin was in the relics area stealing the dragon. On this page though we see Thirteen alone (and apparently about to pick the lock to get into one of the rooms where his “sensor” indicates the relic he wants is stored). I would assume that his guide would not want him picking locks to get into rooms, so one of several scenarios would have had to taken place:
1) Thirteen killed or knocked out his guide and left him somewhere- I think this is unlikely, since Thirteen was apparently trying to keep this whole thing on the hush hush.
2) Thirteen spoke with the guy at the desk on a different day, took “the tour”, spotted where the relic was, and then came back to steal it at a later time- This seems the most likely approach, but there are no points in the story as told to indicate that these events are happening at different times.
3) That isn’t Thirteen- It seems like it should be, considering the dress and the sensor, but we aren’t shown the front of the sensor to verify that it has the red and green bars, and we don’t even know how many people have something like that and dress in a similar fashion, so it is completely possible that this could be another individual caught up in the situation.
I think this page should be titled: When Thieves Go Bump in the Night.

You know, I just realized that both people on this page have the same color gloves. Could that panel have been Tassin putting her lockpicking tools away just before turning the corner and running into the second individual? She is technical reaching in her bag right after the turn.

This is clearly a problem with character design which has caused some confusion. (Also I can sense you are attacking this with the weight of peer review!) However, what’s happening here is that the guy in the corner is waiting. He’s checking his giant awkward timer. He’s checking his lockpicks, he’s waiting some more, and then Tassin interrupts him.

He has shiny too!
I like the dragon shiny better.
I think I’m not going to think too much about it, and think more when we have more to think about. Mysterious people are mysterious.

I think it has more to do with the format of the comic: With my standard physical copy with 32 pages, I won’t spend nearly as much time on each page because there is another page around the corner for me to get to. In this format though, I literally get a week to stare at the panels and see how things are shaping up. So those little thoughts like, is that Thirteen or Tassin, wouldn’t have popped into my head normally because I would have hit the next page and known who I was looking at on the previous page. That combined with the fact that I have much more of a connection to the work than usual keeps me more active than normal:-) Usually I’m not nearly as active on the old forums.
BTW, I noticed you referred to the guy in the corner as “the guy in the corner ” as opposed to naming him. Interesting…

I won’t give any more information than necessary!
