Um, did I like miss a page? Where’s page 30? Oh, and wouldn’t it be easier to make this chapter 2, page 1 instead of continuing the page numbers?
Things are starting to heat up ***snicker***

This scene reminds me of the Night Watch. A classic
.

Did I say Night Watch sorry meant Guards!

There are no page 30’s within even 100 miles of this website. Page 30 is committing suicide outside of our walls. etc.
“Oh, and wouldn’t it be easier to make this chapter 2, page 1 instead of continuing the page numbers?”
No. A glance at the archive page should explain why.
Oddly, I’ve never read Guards! Guards!, although I’ve read and loved all the other “watch” novels. Pratchett has gotten a lot done with Vimes that he couldn’t with some other characters.

There was a similar scene descriped. Oddly enough all are drunk aswell and a dragon comes down the same ally.
As I said It seems to be a classic.
Yeah the guard series is one of Terry Pratchetts best.
